Washburn:
For Washburn’s Christmas Parade, the Southwest Tumble Team won Most Innovative; the Southwest Marching Trojans Band won Most Meaningful; and the People’s Community Bank tied with Phoenix Custom Baits for Most Decorative.
Exeter:
In Exeter, the Southwest Marching Trojans Band won first place for musical bands, and the Exeter Cheerleaders won first for non-musical. In Horses, Mountain Creek Ranch stole first place for Best of Show and Best Presentation. Mountain Creek Ranch also won the City's Choice Award. In Vehicles, Ray Horner won Best of Parade. Lindell Mitchell won first place for best Antique tractor, and Scott Knoll won first place for best Classic tractor. Cub Scouts #76 won Best Float of Parade.
Cassville:
In Cassville, the Southwest Marching Trojans Band won best Marching Band. Richard Akins won Best Decorated Single Unit Vehicle; the Wheaton Fire Department won Oldest Single Unit Vehicle; and Benny’s Automotive won Most Unusual Single Unit Vehicle. White Farms won for best Horse Drawn, and the Corinth Baptist Church was this year’s Honorable Mention. The Judge’s Choice Award went to the Exeter Cheerleaders.
First Place Traveling Awards were given to Hill Creek Church for best Religious entry, Cub Scout Troop 76 & Pack 76 for best Non-Religious entry, and Hillside Poultry and Consignment Auction for best Commercial entry.
The annual Kids’ Choice Award, sponsored by Hutchens Construction, went to Hillside Poultry and Consignment Auction. They will be presented with a $1,000 check donated by Hutchens.
