Area traffic accidents cause injuries

    Tuesday L. Rickson, 33, of Washburn, escaped with minor injuries after her northbound 2001 Chevrolet Suburban struck a cow in the roadway three miles north of Exeter on Highway CC, at 8:45 p.m., Thursday, August 20.
    Rickson was wearing a safety device. She was transported by ambulance to Mercy Cassville.
    Her vehicle was totaled and was towed from the scene by Brice’s Towing of Cassville.
    The accident was investigated by Corporal J. E. Givens, of the Missouri Highway Patrol.
    At 10:33 p.m., Friday, August 21, Dominick G. Clevenger, 19, of Aurora, suffered serious injury after the 2016 Polaris Razor he was driving overturned on Farm Road 1165, eight miles east of Purdy.
    It is unknown whether he was wearing a safety device.
    Clevenger was transported by a private party to Mercy Hospital in Aurora.
    The accident was investigated by Corporal J. E. Givens, of the Missouri Highway Patrol.
