Arkansas woman arrested with drugs in Eagle Rock

A Eureka Springs, Ark., woman is in police custody after officers reported to have found drugs on her during a traffic stop in Eagle Rock. Officers pulled Rebekah Penny, 42, over at the intersection of Farm Road 2265 and State Highway 86 in Eagle Rock for failing to stay in the correct lane on November 1.
Penny gave consent to search her vehicle, and officers located a sunglasses case in a backpack. Inside there were two plastic baggies with methamphetamine residue, five syringes, and a silver spoon with residue.
When officers did a pat down, they located a syringe that tested positive for methamphetamine in her boot, as well. There was also a .22 caliber revolver in the cab of the truck she was driving.
Penny is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of a weapon while possessing a controlled substance and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She is currently being held in the Barry County Jail in lieu of a $15,000 cash, 10 percent or corp surety bond.
