Arkansas woman injured in crash, DWI charges sought

An Arkansas woman was injured in a crash outside of Cassville last week. Following the crash, the Missouri State Highway Patrol is seeking DWI charges against her.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Lori A. Greene, 39, of Deer, Ark., was travelling on MO 112 about four miles outside of Cassville in a 2017 Nissan Versa on Wednesday, January 8. The vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a tree around 8:39 p.m.
Greene suffered moderate injuries in the crash and was transported to Northwest Regional Hospital in Arkansas for treatment.
She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The Versa was totalled and towed from the scene by Brice’s Towing, of Cassville.
Greene is facing charges for DWI and no insurance following the crash, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrest report. She was released into the custody of medical personnel instead of being booked into jail.
