Barry County Master Gardeners elect officers

The Barry County Master Gardeners held the first meeting of the year on February 4 at the Cassville Library. Certificates were awarded to those who had completed their training and volunteered at least 30 hours of community service. Plans were discussed for the “Let’s Get Growing Workshop,” which will be held on Saturday, March 14, and the annual plant sale to be held on April 25. The new officers for the Barry County Master Gardeners are pictured above, from left to right: Ann Houston, chairperson; Jon Nichols, secretary/treasurer; and Kathy Schick, vice-chairperson.
