Barry County schools honor veterans

On Monday, November 11, Cassville High School held its annual Veterans Day assembly, featuring a variety of demonstrations to honor area veterans. During Cassville’s assembly, students took time to honor area veterans individually, giving them certificates thanking them for their service. Pictured above, former Air Force officer and regular Cassville substitute Pete Lanstad is recognized for his service.

On Monday, November 11, Exeter School paid respect to area veterans at their annual Veteran’s day assembly. Pictured above, Exeter student council member Cameron Weston holds the microphone so that former Navy officer Robert Belzung can speak on his time with the armed forces.
