Cabin lost in Camp Barnabas fire

Monett Rural Fire District and Pierce City Fire Protection District were called to a structure fire at Camp Barnabas December 22.
The fire was caused by leaves burning and the embers getting underneath a cabin, which could not be saved, but fire personnel were able to keep the cabin next to it from catching fire.
There were no campers present, and nobody was injured.
