CASK offers classes in July

July 1, 2015
Eunice Blazek
A full class enjoyed the vinyl cement workshop. Repeat students also learned a few new tricks, and that is what happens when you repeat a class. If you learn one new wonderful tip, remember to use it, and have fun while learning it, then the workshop is a success.
A group of painters attended the most recent Paint ‘N Pour class. Lighthouses of all shapes, colors and sizes emerged on the canvases, as did the different styles of painting. Sign up early if you want a spot in the workshop.
Author and CASK member Jo Twidwell will have a book signing for her new book All I Ever Wanted Was To Be Normal. She will be at the Creative Arts Gallery from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. on July 10 and 11.
Nationally known sculptor Lew Aytes is presenting a workshop working with Sculpey Polymer Clay on July 16 and 17, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There may still be a few openings, check with Jo D. at (417) 858-0423 for more information.
The last offering is a Paint ‘N Pour by Jim Hoover on Thursday, July 23. Call Jo D. to sign up for this workshop.
As always, in addition to teaching, we are an art gallery, and our artists would love to share their art with you. The gallery is located behind Bridgeway Plaza in Shell Knob. Follow the signs on Highway 39.
