Cassville Area Chamber Director resigning in November

June 6, 2018
Charlea Estes-Jones

After three years with the Cassville Area Chamber, director Brittany Crawford will be leaving the position in November, according to  current chamber president Dr. Chad Johnson. Dr. Johnson released a statement saying, “Brittany will continue to work with the Chamber throughout the upcoming events and the full transition will take place at the end of the fall season. We are here to answer any questions that may come up during this process. We want to ensure an easy transition and do what is best for the Chamber and its members.”
Crawford is taking a position with goBEC Fiber Network.
In a statement sent to Chamber members, Crawford said, “First and foremost, during the last three years, the Cassville community and our Chamber members have been wonderful. I have no doubt God placed me in this position as Chamber Director and am humbled by the support I have received from our community.
“I want to thank you for the opportunity to serve as Director. I will forever be grateful for the friendships I have made and the valuable knowledge I have gained. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support and/or help you’ve given throughout the events and time spent here at the Chamber.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here, however, I am excited to learn, grow, and continue to work within the Cassville community on a different level.”
Johnson said the Chamber is currently accepting resumes for the director position and plans to hire a new director by the fall.
