Cassville Education Fund hands out grants at CCTA banquet

Four grants totaling $3,440.89 from the Cassville Education Fund were awarded to Cassville teachers at the annual Cassville Community Teachers Association banquet on Monday, April 29, at the Cassville High School commons.
A grant of $2,028 was presented to high school librarian, Briana Kleine, for digital media production equipment for use in student and staff projects.
A grant of $562.89 was presented to Julie Brewer and Michelle Ramaeker for Brain Gym equipment used to teach fine motor skills and develop core strength in students attending the Kinder Academy.
Intermediate school librarian, Misty Truman, received $562.89 for Makerspace equipment to help teach problem solving to third through fifth grade students.
Cheryl Dubuque, special education teacher for grades six through eight, received a grant of $350 for purchasing book publishing materials for her students.
Established in 2010 by community volunteers, the Cassville Education Fund is a permanent endowment fund benefiting Cassville R-IV school district academic programs. Grants from the fund are awarded annually. Almost $18,000 in grants have been awarded to Cassville teachers in the past nine years.
