Cassville FFA takes first in Food Science at State

The Cassville FFA Chapter won the food science career development event at the 91st Missouri FFA Convention. There were 16 teams in the competition.
Team members include Cole Jackson, Andrew Littlefield, Juliette Okel and Drew Speakman. Individually, Jackson placed first, Littlefield placed second, Okel placed 12th and Speakman placed 14th out of 63 participants. Cassville FFA advisors are Jimmy Hinson and John Littlefield.
The food science and technology career development event allows students to gain an awareness of career and professional opportunities in the field of food science and technology. The event is made up of both individual and team activities.
