Cassville superintendent Dr. Richard Asbill opened the graduation ceremony on May 19 with a heartfelt address to the Class of 2019.
Cassville graduate Avery Brown strolled across the stage to accept her diploma, marking the end of her high school career.
As is tradition, many Cassville students decorated and personalized their graduation caps both for aesthetic and to make them easier to find after they’re thrown.
Cassville High Principal Keith Robertson addressed the packed gymnasium, reminiscing about his time with the Class of 2019.
Cassville salutatorian Shannon Haney Jr. gave a speech to his class, celebrating their triumphs and eliciting some laughs from the audience.
