Cassville insurance agent Terry DeGraffenreid passes away

    Terry DeGraffenreid, 65, of Cassville passed away on Sunday, June 28, at Cox South in Springfield. DeGraffenreid was the Shelter Insurance agent for Cassville since 1986.
    He was a member of the First Baptist Church, served on the Freedom Bank Board and Mercy Hospital Board and the Cassville Golf Board. He won multiple awards for his insurance sales, including runner up Agent of the Year in 1987. He served the community in many ways over his long tenure in Cassville.
    DeGraffenreid leaves behind his wife, Brenda, and two daughters, Terri Lynn DeGraffenreid Brattin and Laura Simac. 
DeGraffenreid’s funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 2, at 10 a.m. at the Cassville Family Life Center, and the family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, July 1, at Fohn Funeral Home.
