On January 5, seventh and eighth grade Cassville Middle School band students auditioned and were selected to participate in the Southwest Missouri Junior High District Honor bands. Twenty-seven different schools participated in a blind audition process to select the best players from each school to form one 7th grade and one 8th grade honor band. On Saturday, January 13, the students met for a full day of rehearsal and finished the evening with a concert.
