Cassville Rodeo back for 79th season

The 79th annual Cassville rodeo will be held this weekend on June 11 and 12. Beginning at 8 p.m. both nights at the Bill Hailey Arena, the rodeo will feature everything from Team Roping to Steer Wrestling. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 to 12. Tickets can be purchased in advance by contacting members of the Cassville Rotary Club.
The Cassville Rotary Club will be holding the rodeo in conjunction with the Cassville FFA Booster Club, a nonprofit organization dedicating all proceeds to helping students. Last year was the first rodeo to be held by the Cassville FFA. For the previous 77 seasons, it had been held solely by the Rotary Club.
