The 2018-19 school year marked the 150th anniversary of Cassville Schools. One way the district celebrated was by compiling a time capsule that was buried on campus and will be opened by future Wildcats in the year of 2068.

After staff and students worked together to compile what went inside the time capsule, maintenance staff built a concrete vault to protect the capsule from damage then buried the vault.

Barry County Ready Mix donated a large stone that was placed over the site where the time capsule has been buried. The stone, along with new landscaping, is located on campus in front of the Central Office.
