On Monday, December 18, 125 CMS 6th grade students graduated from the 10-week DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program with instructor and Cassville Student Resource Officer Troy Wenzel. During the program, students learned about the DARE Decision Making Model (DDMM) and how to prioritize decisions in life, in addition to learning about the harmful effects of drug and alcohol abuse. Each student received a certificate of completion. All students were required to write an essay about what they learned throughout the course and how they will use the DDMM to positively influence their lives. Pictured from left to right are the 6 essay winners: Christian Renkoski, Faith James, Kyah Saffold, Josie Bivens, Gracie Harmon, and Emma Berndt.
