Cassville Theatre production slated for May 1
April 25, 2018
There will be a Cassville Theatre Production comedy called Good Help is so Hard to Murder by Pat Cook on May 1. It is in the Middle School Fema Event Center. Show times are at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Two different casts will be performing the play. Admission cost is $3 for adults and $2 for children.
Delilah, played by Ayasha Andrews and Sophie Scott, is convinced that the maid “knows too much” about her family’s shady past. Delilah conspires with her younger sister, Mirabelle, played by Alyse Brown and Jennifer Bickford, to get rid of her. A visit from Elmira, the local psychic, warns them that a tragedy (and most certainly a comedy) is about to occur. Delilah’s tea party didn’t work as planned, but perhaps a drop or two of the right chemistry in the maid’s tea, played by Austin Rivera and Abby Jackson, will do the trick. Just when it looks like the deed is done, a spook makes a timely appearance and Elmira, played by Grace Baxley and Katie Stockton, senses danger. Officer Judy arrives to help resolve this farce, but it’s the parrot that solves the crime.
