Cassville thinclads headed to state

Both Kyren Postlewait and David Oliphant earned gold medals to lead the Cassville tracksters at the Class 3 sectional meet at Camdenton on Saturday. Postlewait took first in the shot with a heave of 11.79 meters, and Oliphant won the 100 meter dash in 11.21.
Bradan Dickinson and Peter Littlefield alsp earned berths in the boys state meet. Dickinson placed third in the shot with a throw of 14,56 meters, and Littlefield finished third in the high jump, clearing 1.80 meters.
Besides Postlewait, the Cassville girls qualified three relay teams for state, and picked up a pair of fourth place individuals: Riley Morris in the discus (30.15m) and Hannah Hackler in the 200 meter dash (27.08).
