Cassville WGA guesses scores in favorable weather

It was another solid couple of weeks for the ladies of the Cassville Women’s Golf association. Reporting favorable weather for the game, the association met for a game of “Guess your score” wherein the golfer’s scores were taken by another player, and the winner was the member who guessed closest to their actual score.
First place in this game went to Ann Loeppke who was only off by one stroke on her real score. On this day, Lynn Blanke and Jeanette Skorupski tied each other for lowest putts. There were no birdies, chip-ins or closest to the hole winners.
On September 5, the association met again to play a round of lowest grossing score. First place in this game went to Janie Watson, second went to Leta Higgs and third went to Karry Lewis.
Lowest net scores were also recorded, with the winners of this portion of the event recognized. First place went to Debbie Yarnall, second went to Cheryl Ludwig and third went to Barb Vesley.
Closest to the pin was Janie Watson on hole 11. Lowest total putts went to Debbie Yarnall. Birdies were scored by Leta Higgs and a chip-in was scored by Ann Loeppke.
