Central Crossing Senior Center gives Business Partner Plaque
November 1, 2017
The Thrifty Closet Volunteer Luncheon at the Central Community United Methodist Church was the scene of the presentation of The Business Partner Plaque on Saturday, October 28. The Central Crossing Senior Center presented the plaque in recognition of the monthly donation made by the Thrifty Closet in support of the salad bar. The senior center wants to provide a balanced meal to those seniors who participate and salad is essential in that goal. Budget cuts in years past required donations to keep salad on the menu. The Thrifty Closet is a substantial donor towards the monthly cost of keeping this wonderful salad bar available. The Center is most grateful to The Thrifty Closet and their dedicated Board of Directors and volunteers. Shell Knob Seniors Inc. is the parent corporation of the Central Crossing Senior Center. Above, Jerry Arnold, CEO, COO of Shell Knob Seniors, Inc. presented the Business Partners Plaque to the Board of Directors of the Thrifty Closet, an outreach ministry of the Central Community United Methodist Church, Shell Knob.
