Central Crossing Senior Center to celebrate Older Americans Day May 21

On Tues., May 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Central Crossing Senior Center in Shell Knob will host a celebration of Older Americans Day. A free lunch will be provided by CCSC Business Partners, including smoked meat to be provided by Jim Fohn.
The center's Business Partners will also have displays to visit. There will be a wellness event provided by Plaza Pharmacy, a trivia contest, a silent auction and guest speaker and local author Tom Koob will discuss Shell Knob history. Proceeds from this event will help with the ongoing expenses of the center's salad bar.
There will be a contest to match baby pictures with participating older Americans who frequent the center, as well.
Guests that day are invited to bring older memorabilia to display.
