Advanced show tickets will cost $7 or $8 at the door. Children 12 and under get into the show for free. Table reservations are available for $75, which will include eight seats, or cost $15 per person.
The shows on Thursday and Saturday are at 7:30 p.m. A special Sunday matinee is to close out the performances for three days beginning at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are available at the Cassville Chamber of Commerce office, 504 Main Street in Cassville, or at all local Cassville banks.
Besides the show and the Chili Cook-Off, the Cassville YMCA is sponsoring a “Chili Run” 5k and 1 mile run/walk starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday, October 22. Participants are strongly encouraged to dress as their favorite 70’s and 80’s TV show characters where prizes will be awarded for the best costume. Food vendors will be offering funnel cakes, kettle corn, BBQ on the day of the event.
This year’s festival will host the favorite chili/salsa cook-off competition, chili dog eating contest, a pet parade and also live music entertainment from local musicians. Over the years, Cassville’s Chili Cook-Off has had different types of venders come to the event run by different owners.
Very few booth spaces are still available for purchase. Be sure to contact the Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce at (417) 847-2814 for any information.
