City of Cassville awards Employees of the Year

The City of Cassville recently honored employees who earned Department and Employee of the Year awards for 2019. This year's honorees were Isaac Petersen, Stuart Lombard, Justin Dunivant and Caleb Antle. Winners of the department employee of the year received a certificate and a complimentary day off. The overall employee of the year received a certificate and two days off. Each department within the City of Cassville selected an employee who exemplified characteristics like consistently assisting and working with fellow employees without having to be asked, eagerly participating in group or team projects, utilizing good communication skills, is a role model and is willing to accomplish any task given. Employees also have good morale, are courteous to public and fellow employees, have an overall positive presence, go above and beyond their job description in helping the public, fellow employees and city succeed. The department winners this year were Isaac Peterson for the administration department. Petersen is the economic development director and has been employed by the city since January 1, 2019. The public works employee of the year was Caleb Antle, who is a water utility worker. He has been with the city since May 24, 2017. The police department employee of the year was Justin Dunivant, a patrol officer who has been with the city since November 4, 2018. The overall employee of the year was Stuart Lombard, a patrol officer, evidence technician and administrative assistant. Lombard has been with the City of Cassville since August 31, 2017, part-time, and full-time since January 1, 2018. The employee of the year is open to the entire city staff to select the employee who exemplifies the characteristics in innovation, teamwork, customer service and high integrity to earn this award. Lombard consistently demonstrates a positive attitude in every task and situation, continually works well with the public and fellow employees and stands above his peers in every area. |
