Classic boats come to Table Rock Lake
May 26, 2021
More antique and classic boats will cruise more miles in a single event during the 2021 Classics Cruisin’ Table Rock Lake event June 2 - 6, than anywhere else in America, says event co-chair Don Parker of Kimberling City.
This year’s event kicks-off with a two-day cruise for early arrivers on Bull Shoals Lake.
The public will have an opportunity to see the expected 27 to 30 classic boats on display at Rock Lane Marina during a free mini-show on the Saturday afternoon of the event.
Don Parker, who co-chairs the event with his wife Kathy, noted, “What distinguishes this event is that our antique and classic boats will cruise right by our neighbors and guests, up and down three arms of Table Rock Lake. Additionally, this year, we will also cruise on Bull Shoals.”
Home port for the event will be Rock Lane Marina at Rock Lane Resort on Indian Point Road (just south of Silver Dollar City).
“The “mini-show” is free to the public from 1 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 5.
The Bull Shoals run will depart from Sugarloaf Harbor Marina on Bull Shoals at 1 p.m. on June 2, with the boats over-nighting at Lakeview Cove Marina at Bull Shoals Dam and returning the next afternoon, June 3.
The vintage boats plying Table Rock Lakes waters and at the show will come from seven states and will represent the most iconic names in antique and classic boating. Floating works of art and utility in wood and fiberglass by Riva, Century, Chetek, Chris-Craft, Owens, Trojan, Cobalt, Lyman, Glastron, Bryant, Larson, Borum, and Skiff Craft are already registered to attend this year’s event.
Don Parker added, “Table Rock’s clear water and picturesque Ozarks scenery is a huge draw, but every year we hear from those attending this event that they also appreciate the famous Ozarks hospitality extended to them by so many of our local residents.”
Kathy Parker said more details on this year’s event are available at HeartlandClassics.Org and on the Heartland Classics Chapter of ACBS Facebook page. Heartland Classics Chapter sponsors the event and is a part of the international Antique & Classic Boat Society (ACBS.org).
