Coats for Kids to be held in Aurora Nov. 2
October 23, 2019
The Verona Knights of Columbus is excited to announce that the 2nd annual Coats for Kids will be held in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church hall (corner of Carnation Road and Highway 60 in Aurora) on Saturday, November 2, at 1 p.m. This will be first come first serve, as there are a limited number of coats available. Coat sizes run from tots to size 18. Children must be with parents or legal guardians and only 1 coat per child is permitted.
Many low income families use their scarce resources to meet the most essential needs of the family and cannot afford new coats for their children. The Knights of Columbus purchases new winter coats and supplies them for free to children, without judgement, so that they can keep warm during the winter months.
The Knights are looking for sponsors to help with buying more coats, if you, or your group are interested, please contact Mark Conn at (417) 849-7180.
