September 18, 2019

On the morning of Wednesday, September 11, members of the community gathered at a private residence in Cassville for the dedication of a new flag pole and flag. The flag was dedicated to the men and women lost in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center building and the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. Myrtle Kimble, the owner of the residence, organized the event, inviting members of the community as well as several veterans to the ceremony. The flag was first raised to the top of the pole before being lowered to half-staff in observance of the day.
