CS Bank embarked on a maiden voyage outside of Arkansas, with the opening their new location in Cassville.
Charlie Cross, who’s been with the company since 1992 and is the current CEO, spoke of great business opportunities in Cassville.
“We’ve got a good client base who have been begging us to get up here with a location,” said Cross, “and we like a lot of the things that are happening up here from a community standpoint.”
Speaking of CS Bank’s unique community awareness, Cross stated that “we’re a very strong agricultural business lender. I think our role here is to fill the niche of a community bank, and provide that service level and experience where you can come in and get an answer from somebody that knows you and knows your business.”
Opening first in 1912 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, the bank celebrated its 109th birthday on May 4. In this past century, they’ve expanded to six locations across Northwest Arkansas, with their seventh now in at 95 State Highway 37, Cassville, across from the Les Jacobs Ford. This location is a temporary location, however, and a bigger and more permanent facility is in the design phase. It will be in the adjacent lot of the current building.
Hannah Stone, Marketing Director for CS Bank, said the following about the opening: “We are so excited to finally have the doors open at our CS Bank - Cassville location. Throughout this journey, the community truly welcomed the bank with open arms, and for that, we are incredibly grateful. CS Bank is a full service bank and can handle all financial needs ranging from agri, small business, personal, mortgages, investments, and much more. We have an eager team at our Cassville location that provides a level of service that is hard to come by—something we take pride in at CS Bank. I’d like to personally thank the community, on behalf of CS Bank, for making our Grand Opening event as special as it was. It was a pleasure to meet so many friendly faces.”
