After the first successful year of hosting the Depot Auto Show, brothers, Kenneth and Kyle Phillips of Exeter are ready for a second round. Even with the corona virus, the second annual Depot Auto Show in Exeter will go on as planned Saturday, August 15, 2020, from 1p.m. - 6 p.m.
Precautions are being taken and local and CDC guidelines are being followed. Masks and hand sanitizer are available if needed inside the Exeter Community Building. Also inside the community building will be the registration and hospitality area for attendees.
The Depot Auto Show will have several booths set up outside the community building. Food vendors, including Cr-ose Cafe on Wheels, the Masonic Lodge and Security Bank of Southwest Missouri will be present.
Vehicle registration and admission is free. "We are going to triple the amount of awards where the people still vote," said Kenneth Phillips.
All awards given will be chosen by the people attending and those who registered a vehicle. Classes include, first through fifth, kids choice, work in progress, best c-10 Chevy, best bumpside Ford, best classic tractor, best motorcycle and best diesel.
"We would like to thank all our sponsors: CS Photography, Super C Media Blasting and Powder Coating, CS Designs Decor and More, Fohn Funeral Home, Sunshine Tanning and More, and Gary Swearingen for Barry County Coroner," said Kyle Phillips.
The Depot Auto Show will be located on 119 Front Street in Exeter.
