Driver injured in Monett Farm Road crash

A Monett man was injured after a crash on a Farm Road on Wednesday night, November 27. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Benjamin J. Oakley, 42, of Monett, was headed southbound when the vehicle he was driving ran off the road.
Oakley was driving a 2000 Dodge Ram 3500 when the truck ran off the road and hit a fence before eventually landing in a creek beside Farm Road 1090 about one quarter of a mile south of Monett.
Oakley suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Freeman Hospital in Joplin for treatment.
Oakley was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The Ram was totalled and towed from the scene by Thomas Towing, of Monett.
