Driver of four-wheeler injured in rural Purdy crash

A Purdy man was injured in a four wheeler crash on private property on Wednesday afternoon. Keith A. Ridenour, 57, of Purdy, was moderately injured in the crash, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
Ridenour was driving a 1986 Suzuki four wheeler on Wednesday, November 27, when he crashed around 3:10 p.m. on a private property about six miles west of Purdy. According to the report, the vehicle was southbound in a field when a ditch was attempted to be navigated. When the four wheeler went in the ditch, it overturned and landed on Ridenour.
Ridenour was transported by ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment of moderate injuries. He was not wearing a safety device at the time of the crash.
The four wheeler sustained minor damage and was left at the scene.
