Eagle Rock woman injured after hitting parked car

An Eagle Rock woman sustained moderate injuries in a crash outside of Cassville last week after hitting a parked car. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Carol M. Voelkering, 75, of Eagle Rock, was driving northbound on MO-112 when she lost control of her vehicle.
Voelkering, driving a 2002 Subaru Forrester, crashed around 7:40 p.m. when she lost control of the vehicle, left the road, and hit a 2014 Ford F150 that was parked about two miles south of Cassville on MO-112. The Forrester then overturned after hitting the truck.
Voelkering was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Cassville for her injuries. There were no people in the parked truck at the time of the crash.
Voelkering was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Both the Forrester andF150 were totaled and towed from the scene by US Auto of Cassville.
