Exeter afterschool program contributors honored

Multiple members of the Exeter School community were recently recognized for achievements related to the school’s afterschool program. Darla Horner, Dr. Chad Johnson, Tim Jordan and Dr. Ernest Raney were all recognized for their contributions. All were honored at the Missouri Celebration of Afterschool Recognition luncheon on Friday, March 2, except for Dr. Raney, who had a prior obligation.
They were also featured on the Missouri After School Network’s social media and the State Afterschool Pipeline (ASP) newsletter.
Darla Horner, Exeter’s preschool teacher, was named the ASP Staffer of the Month for Missouri. Dr. Johnson was named the Outstanding ASP Partner for Missouri. Tim Jordan, Exeter Elementary principal, was named the Outstanding School Administrator for ASP for Missouri. Dr. Raney was named the Outstanding School Administrator for ASP Missouri.
All nominations were made by Exeter’s afterschool program director Mandy Mattingly.
Johnson was one of five in Missouri recognized. Horner has won staff of the month twice. Jordan and Raney were two out of six recognized in the state.
