Fayetteville man seriously injured after Jeep wrecks off bluff

A Fayetteville, Ark., man was seriously injured over the weekend when he drove off a bluff and landed in a creek bed north of Seligman.
Jeremiah A. Ball, 28, of Fayetteville, Ark., was driving a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee southbound on Highway 37 about four miles north of Seligman on Saturday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Ball traveled off the left side of the road, through two fences and went off of a bluff before landing in a creek bed. Ball had to be transported to Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark., for his injuries.
The Jeep was totaled and had to be towed from the scene. Ball was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
