Freight-Liner Overturns in Roaring River
An Arizona man was moderately injured in a crash south of Roaring River State Park at 1:25 p.m. last Wednesday, May 25. According to Missouri Highway Patrol crash report, Bernardo Morales, 46, of Glendale, Arizona, was on Missouri-112, three miles south of Roaring River State Park, in a 2009 Freightliner Tractor Trailer. Morales then slid off the right side of the roadway and overturned, totaling his vehicle. Morales suffered moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to the Mercy Hospital in Cassville. Morales was wearing a safety device at the time of the crash.
Golden Woman Life Flighted from 86
A woman from Golden was seriously injured in a crash near Eagle Rock at 4:30 p.m. on the evening of Friday, May 27. According to a crash report filed by the Missouri Highway Patrol, Mary Godsey, 61, of Golden, was northbound on Highway 86 in Eagle Rock in a 2011 Nissan Altima when she ran off the roadway and struck a tree. Godsey was life flighted to the Mercy Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries. Godsey was not wearing a safety device at the time of the incident. Godsey’s 2011 Nissan Altima was totaled due to the accident.
Neosho Man Airlifted from Table Rock Lake After Boat Crash
A Neosho man suffered serious injuries after a boat crash on May 29. According to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, Karl Culbertson, 18, of Neosho, was westbound near Campbell Point on Table Rock Lake at 2:02 p.m. in a 2002 Yamaha Personal Watercraft when he collided into a juvenile female’s 2019 Seadoo Personal Watercraft, and both occupants were ejected. Both watercraft sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene. Both occupants were wearing safety devices at the time of the accident. Culbertson was then airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries.
79-Year-Old Shell Knob Man Crashes into Tractor
A 79 year old Shell Knob man suffered minor injuries due to striking a tractor on Tuesday, May 31. At approximately 9:30 a.m., Philip Hendrix, 79, of Shell Knob, was westbound on MO-86 in a 2020 Ford F-150 when he struck a 2007 John Deere Tractor, driven by Rocky Hall, 33, of Springfield.
Hall was wearing a safety device at the time of the accident, and was uninjured. Hall’s John Deere Tractor sustained minor damage, and was driven from the scene. Hendrix was not wearing a safety device at the time of the accident and suffered minor injuries. Hendrix’s Ford sustained extensive damage, and was towed by Brice’s Towing. Hendrix was transported by Mercy Ambulance to mercy Hospital in Berryville, Ark.
