Free screening mammograms offered at Cox Monett
September 11, 2019
Cox Monett is once again partnering with Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks to offer free screening mammograms from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, inside the hospital’s north patient registration entrance.
No appointment is necessary for a mammogram, which are available for underinsured and uninsured women. Participants do not need to be a CoxHealth patient to receive one.
All participants must be at least 40 years of age, unless there is a family history of breast cancer (first degree relative). After each exam, the scans will be interpreted by radiologists, and participants will be notified of the results.
Due to a limited number of times available the day of the event, vouchers may be given for women to receive a mammogram at a later date.
For more information about the free screening, please visit the Cox Monett Facebook page or call (417) 354-1138.
