Cassville Food Pantry is delighted to announce the receipt of a generous $1,000 grant from the Community Foundation of the Ozarks in care of the Cassville Community Foundation.
The Pantry gratefully acknowledges the significance of these funds which will play a crucial role in the agency’s ongoing efforts to combat food insecurity in Barry County. Pantry Director Janet Mills is thrilled with the support and says, “The mission of Cassville Pantry is to nourish our neighbors facing hunger with healthy food, hope, and community. The grant funding will allow us to sustain vital operations and maintain nutritious food in our inventory. Each month 550 to 600 families are provided with a food box, ensuring that they have the dietary resources necessary for good health. This grant empowers us to continue serving our community with essential support to combat local hunger and reinforces our commitment to fostering a healthier, more hopeful environment for our neighbors in need.”
