Cassville city administrator Steve Walensky said he was notified today that, due to concerns about the high rate of COVID-19 in southwest Missouri, the SEMA and FEMA representatives who were scheduled to meet with Cassville residents on July 13 have opted to postpone their trip.
The intended purpose for their July 13 visit was to hold question and answer sessions with residents about the proposed reinstatement of the National Flood Insurance Program in Cassville.
The representatives told Walensky they will reschedule a visit at a later date.
