Libraries open for curbside service

All branches of the Barry-Lawrence Regional Library district are offering contactless curbside/pick up service and desktop computer use by appointment only.
Curbside/pickup service and desktop computer appointment hours will be:
Monday*: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Tuesday: 1 - 5 p.m.
Wednesday: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Thursday: 1 - 5 p.m.
Friday: 1 - 5 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
*All Branches will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.
Not all branches are open every day. We encourage patrons to call their branch location for further information.
For curbside/pickup service:
Patrons can call or e-mail their local branch and have items pulled from the shelves or holds placed on items at other branches. Due to staff time constraints, there is a limit of ten (10) items to be pulled or requested per cardholder by phone or e-mail.
Patrons may pick up their bagged items from a table in front of the library or in the foyer. Patrons that are disabled or medically unable to leave their car may request staff bring their items to their vehicle at the appointed time.
All returned items are to be placed in the branch book drop. Staff WILL NOT take returns or donations at this time.
Patrons may not enter the library for any reason unless they have an appointment to use the computer.
For desktop computer appointments:
Use of the computer is for business use only. NO GAMING. Those playing games will be asked to leave.
Desktop computer access is limited to one hour per person per day. Only those with an appointment may enter the library.
Staff will only offer limited assistance from a distance.
We encourage patrons to wear protective face masks if possible to protect themselves and the staff.
