Fourth, Third Grades prevail in Mighty Mite

The Fourth Grade Mighty Mite team, shown above, capped its season with a first place win in the Tournament of Champions in Harrison, Arkansas, over the weekend. With seven wins and zero losses, the team was undefeated in regular season play. After advancing to the Tournament of Champions, they shut out the Harrison team, 21-0, and overcame the Gravette, Arkansas, team, 14-6.
Players in the Fourth Grade bracket were Miles Connolley, Dexter Berry, Jace Burns, Dustin Libertus, Kamrey Harris, Roper Wiseman, Alex Chase, Jaxen Anderson, Bentley Pinnell, Ryken Ritchie, Isaiah Mink, Hudson Jack, Garrett Matthew, Julian Daniels, Tristan Larson, Connar Taylor, Preston Krull, Carter Stringer, Gavin Craft, Vinny Griffanti, Kelby Lee, Michael Mink, Colton Yockey, Jaden Bartosh, Kyler Artherton, Brittian Morris, Carter Guyll, Eric Cotton, Diesel Beranek, Carter Robertson, Nicholas Luna, Roman Earnhart, Kobhe Ware, Preston Mildfeldt, Domanik Kramp and Liam Harvey.
The team was coached by Greg Matthew, Dylan Burns, Chris Yockey, Brian Stewart, Stanton Stringer and Jeramiah Taylor.

“They played an 8-0 regular season,” said Head Coach Bobby Joe Meeks. “In the tournament at Harrison, they lost their first game to Seneca, then won their second game against Highland, Kansas.”
Meeks was assisted in coaching by Briar Meek, Brandon Stoufer, Eli Stehlik, Derek Meltabarger and Jordan Boone.
