Motorcycle crash injures one

A Monett motorcycle driver was injured after a crash outside of Monett on US 60 on Monday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Jimmy Bricker, 21, of Monett, was driving westbound on US 60 when the motorcycle ran off the roadway.
The report states the crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. on Monday, September 9. Bricker was driving a 2000 Yamaha Roadstar motorcycle westbound when it ran off the right side of the roadway then came back on the roadway and overturned.
Bricker suffered moderate injuries in the crash. He was wearing a helmet at the time. He was transported by a private vehicle to Cox Monett Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The motorcycle was extensively damaged in the crash. It was removed from the scene by the owner.
