Motorcycle driver escapes injury in crash

According to a Missouri Highway Patrol report, William D. Burch (50), of Purdy, escaped injury after his 2020 Indian Challenger motorcycle left the right side of Farm Road 1095, one mile south of Purdy, and overturned. The accident happened December 25 at 11:30 a.m.
A 52-year-old female passenger, Joni Moore, also of Purdy, suffered serious injuries in the accident and was taken by ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
Neither the driver nor the passenger was wearing a safety device.
The motorcycle suffered minor damage and driven from the seat.
The accident was investigated by Trooper T. M. Royster.
