New Trooper Assigned To Troop D

Captain Justin L. McCullough, commanding officer of Troop D, Springfield, is pleased to announce the assignment of a new trooper to Troop D. Trooper Zachary T. Costley was a member of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 110th Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol Academy on January 20, 2021.
Trooper Costley grew up in Lamar, where he was homeschooled. Trooper Costley graduated from Pittsburg State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He will be assigned to Zone 15, which serves Taney and Stone counties. Prior to joining the Patrol, Trooper Costley served as a police officer for the city of Lamar.
