One injured in single car Farm Road 1040 crash

             The driver of a Chevrolet Aveo was injured when he ran off the road and overturned on Friday evening. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the wreck occurred at Farm Road 1040 north of Farm Road 2060 around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 29.
             Riley Fields, 18, of Purdy, was driving the Aveo northbound when he ran off the roadway and overturned. The Aveo was totalled and towed from the scene by Brice’s Towing, of Cassville.
             Fields suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin by EMS. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
