Preddy takes 1st place

Robert Preddy, of Cassville High School, took first place in Jobs for America’s Graduates contest.
Robert Preddy took 1st place in the state competition for Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG). JAG is a new program to Cassville High School. This is the first time students have competed in the Career Development Conference which consists of pre-event competitions and on-site competitions.
Several students competed in the pre-event category for Career Development Conference which included chapter commercial, chapter newsletter, and employability skills to name a few.
Robert Preddy competed in employability skills which consisted of two phases: resume and cover letter (phase 1) and application and employment interview (phase 2). His resume and cover letter took 1st place which would have sent him to phase 2 of the competitions on-site. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to compete in phase 2 because of quarantine.
