Previous Trivia Night benefits Cassville R-IV students
March 4, 2020
The 10th annual Trivia Night will be held on Friday, March 6 at 7 p.m. at the Cassville High School commons with all proceeds supporting the Cassville Education Fund.
The Cassville Education Fund is a permanent endowment supporting educational programs at Cassville Schools. Since its inception 10 years ago, the fund has granted more than $21,000 in academic grants.
A dedicated group of volunteers has raised more than $92,000 for the endowment fund. Their efforts, and donations of all amounts from local residents (including Trivia Night and Wildcat Wednesday participants), make the academic grants possible.
Last year, grants were awarded to various programs. One grant was used to purchase equipment for digital content production in the Cassville High School library for $2,028. Money was also provided to purchase core-building stools and vestibular sitting bowls for Kinder Academy students.
Additional grants were given last year to the Middle School Special Education class for book publishing supplies and to the Intermediate School Library for Makerspace STEM materials.
