Privett named Cassville Chief of Police

Cassville City Administrator Steve Walensky announced last week that Donnie Privett has been promoted to Chief of Police for the City of Cassville.
Donnie began his tenure with the Cassville Police Department as a Patrolman on September 25, 2006. He has held the position of Corporal and Sergeant and has served as the Interim Police Chief since Police Chief Dana Kammerlohr’s retirement in May 2023. “Donnie’s service and growth in the field of law enforcement has given him a great awareness of the duties, obligations, and demands called for with our officers,” said Walensky. “He has risen through the ranks and is familiar with each position. This knowledge and understanding will allow him to transition into the position of Police Chief as a servant leader.”
