Purdy Elementary announces spelling bee champ

Kora Kelleher, a Purdy Elementary fifth grade student, won the school’s annual fourth through sixth grade spelling bee on Thursday, January 30, by correctly spelling the word “confidence.” She will represent the Purdy Eagles at the annual Joplin Globe Spelling Bee on March 16.
Kora is the daughter of Brittany Scherrer and Brandon Russell and Chad Kelleher.
