Purdy FBLA Sends Eight to Virtual State
March 3, 2021
Eight Purdy High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members have qualified for the organization’s virtual State Leadership Conference and competition. Purdy FBLA Adviser Kay Wright noted of her members’ accomplishments, “In a year marked by cancellations and a general shifting from in-person to virtual competitions and conferences, it would be easy for students to lose interest and excitement in participating, but our FBLA members have remained enthusiastic and engaged, despite the challenging circumstances of the Pandemic. I am particularly proud of the commitment and focus of our eight state qualifiers, three of whom qualified in two different competition areas.” Purdy High School’s State FBLA qualifiers compete under the direction of their chapter advisers Kay Wright and Emily Brewer and are pictured from left.
