The Purdy FFA Chapter hosted the 2019 Purdy FFA Barnwarming on Friday, October 11. Many FFA members, as well as many people from the community, attended. This year's theme was “Chattahoochee,” inspired by Alan Jackson’s hit song.
Purdy's Barnwarming Royalty candidates this year included freshmen Trey Hughes and Alli Hayes, sophomores Paul Falter and Robyn Schad, juniors Jake Brown and Annabelle Bowman, and seniors Scotty Henry and Soledad Salas. The night was full of fun, delicious chili, lake-themed games and a lot of friendly competition. The 2019 Barnwarming King and Queen were seniors Scotty Henry and Soledad Salas.
Purdy FFA member Harley Stephens noted of the event, “It was a good time, with great food, and fun games.”
